The West Texas Salute to Veterans proudly announces its 10th annual event, to be held on November 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the American Windmill Museum, located at 1701 Canyon Lake Drive, Lubbock, Texas. This milestone event holds special significance as it coincides with the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, offering a powerful opportunity to honor the service, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of our nation’s veterans.

This annual gathering is dedicated to supporting veterans and their families from across the West Texas region by connecting them with essential resources, services, and community support. The event will feature a wide range of veteran-focused vendors and resource organizations committed to assisting veterans with healthcare, benefits, employment, education, and overall well-being.

In the spirit of unity and gratitude, the West Texas Salute to Veterans will also offer food, family-friendly activities, and children’s events, making it a welcoming celebration for veterans of all generations and the loved ones who stand beside them. The event reflects the strong military heritage of West Texas and the deep appreciation our community holds for those who have served.

This meaningful event is made possible through the support of the Veteran Advisory Committee and the dedication of many volunteers who believe in honoring service through action. Together, we stand to recognize the courage, resilience, and commitment of our veterans—yesterday, today, and for generations to come.

The West Texas Salute to Veterans remains steadfast in its mission to serve those who served us, proudly celebrating a decade of impact while honoring 250 years of American strength, freedom, and sacrifice.
