2026 Fall Model Train Show

The 2026 Fall Model Train Show is taking place from Tuesday, November 24th to Saturday, November 28th (closed for Thanksgiving Day) at the American Windmill Museum. The Lubbock Model Railroad Association (LMRA) will have a variety of model train layouts on display throughout the museum, including the AWM’s large permanent G-scale exhibit. The event will run each day from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Admission is $5 per person, with kids 2 and under and AWM members getting in for free. On Saturday, train-themed raffle prizes will be drawn, with tickets available all week for $1 each or 6 for $5, and all proceeds benefiting the LMRA. Whether you’re a model train enthusiast or just looking for a fun family outing, this event is sure to be a great experience for all ages!
