DESCRIPTION:Notice:  Originally scheduled for January 24\, the car show has been pushed to Saturday\, January 31 due to anticipated inclement weather.\n\n\n  \nEvent Hosted by: The American Windmill Museum in support of the Caprock Corvette Club \n\n\n\nEvent Details:\n\nAdmission is $7.00 per person\n\nChildren 3 and under are FREE\n\nAWM Members are FREE\n\nOver 60 beautiful Corvettes on display among more than 200 windmills\, 5 permanent model train exhibits\, 85 miniature houses\, free face painting\, free balloon animals\, and fun music ALL INSIDE the American Windmill Museum.  Food trucks will be available in the parking lot.  It is a FUN day at the American Windmill Museum!!  And you will be supporting four local non-profit organizations.\n\nMark your ballot for the Best In Show Award which will be awarded at 4:00 pm.  Raffle tickets will be available at $1 each or 6 for $5 for some great prizes!  Drawing will be during the awards.  Need not be present to win.  Proceeds benefit the American Windmill Museum.\nIf you would like to enter a Corvette in the Show\, there is no entry fee if you are a member of the Caprock Corvette Club before the show.  Non-members can pay $20 the day of the show to enter or join the Club and get in for half price!  For more information on entering a car\, contact the Caprock Corvette Club.\n\nIt’s a whole day of fun at the American Windmill Museum\, come join us!!\n\nFor more information on becoming a member visit us at: https://windmill.com/about/individual-memberships/

The Lubbock Model Railroad Association (LMRA) will have a variety of model train layouts on display throughout the museum\, including the AWM’s large permanent G-scale exhibit. The event will run each day from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. \nAdmission is $5 per person\, with kids 2 and under and AWM members getting in for free. On Saturday\, train-themed raffle prizes will be drawn\, with tickets available all week for $1 each or 6 for $5\, and all proceeds benefiting the LMRA. Whether you’re a model train enthusiast or just looking for a fun family outing\, this event is sure to be a great experience for all ages! \n
